The 2024 Anugerah Insan Berprestasi (Outstanding Individual Awards) was once again held by Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). One of the award categories was secured by the Environmental Science Master’s Program, Graduate School. On 13 November 2024, the Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada presented the award for Graduate Program Excellence in Modular Course Planning and Development to the Environmental Science Master’s Program. This recognition forms part of the series of events celebrating UGM’s 75th Anniversary (Dies Natalis) and its 15th Lustrum.

The Environmental Science Master’s Program received the award for its development of five modular course titles: Environmental Physiography, Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Audit, Watershed Management, Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, and Disaster Monitoring and Early Warning Systems.
UGM Rector, Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med., Sp.OG (K)., Ph.D., stated that the Insan Berprestasi awards aim to provide motivation and appreciation to alumni, lecturers, students, administrative units, and education staff who have made outstanding contributions to Universitas Gadjah Mada.
