As part of the program, the team also distributed and repaired waste-processing equipment for the management of the temporary waste disposal site (TPS) “Sampah Legi,” operated by BUMDESA Trimurti Lestari. Located in Puron Hamlet, this TPS serves as a central point in efforts to enhance community awareness and skills in proper waste management.
This initiative aims not only to strengthen waste management capacity at the village level but also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 12, which emphasizes responsible consumption and production. By applying sound waste management principles, the program is expected to reduce negative environmental impacts and improve the quality of life for residents of Trimurti Village.
Through this innovation, Trimurti Village is expected to become a model for other rural communities in implementing more effective waste management practices, thereby contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
