YOGYAKARTA, January 21, 2026 – The Master and Doctoral Programs in Environmental Science at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held a graduation ceremony for Period II of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. In this period, 13 graduates officially completed their studies, prepared to provide professional contributions through the expertise gained during their education at UGM.

The list of graduates who successfully completed their studies in this period includes five individuals from the Doctoral Program in Environmental Science: Defritus Aldrin Punuf, Iga Maliga, Natasha Belandina Cornelin Abolla, Rembanang Anindhita, and Thomas Oka Pratama. Meanwhile, the Master of Environmental Science Program graduated eight students: Anak Agung Istri Agung Mirayani, Akbar Wahyu Illahi, Annisa Nabila Ramdini, Ardhi Irawan, Inneke Monica, Nona Chalista Aurora Nur Cahyo, Rahmi Idhayanti, and Ummi Nur Fitriana.
The graduation of these students represents a concrete step by UGM in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Equipped with Quality Education (SDG 4), the graduates are expected to implement their research to address the climate crisis (SDG 13), preserve marine and terrestrial ecosystems (SDG 14 & 15), and promote responsible consumption and production patterns (SDG 12). This aligns with the institution’s mission to transform scientific knowledge into concrete solutions for today’s complex environmental challenges.
